Keep in mind theres different variations on all these Folk dances and Im just gonna cover some of them Reason for this thread is to educate more people about our fun Culture

This is about our traditional culture, yes I do agree some families of today put more pressure on the girls to be good and are more lenient towards the boys (mothers are mostly to blame). But in our traditional culture women were never degraded in any way, have a look at old poems. Even FGM is performed and encouraged by other women.You should not equate a few decades of bad parenting by a generation of refugees to our rich traditional culture.

true except the hate part, but also true for most cultures even thou is not the same nowadays. religion destroyed most of our culture and whats left is niqaab dance...total boring.
