A fantasy is an idea with no basis in reality and is basically your imagination unrestricted by reality. Reality is the state of things as they exist. It's what you see, hear, and experience.

Many people fanatise about murdering people who wronged them, but would be disgusted with actually doing it in real life.

There are people that fanatise about committing suicide, especially during times of deep tribulations, yet the majority of people that commit suicide unsuccessfully regret it deeply.

You cannot correlate people's dumb and sick fantasies to real life. No woman actually wants to be raped and brutalized.
