1. forced marriages can happen in our culture i never denied that. it certainly isnt prevalent enough to be a huge issue though. this happens more so in other communities such as south asian ones. somali women are usually fiery and outspoken so they wouldnt allow such injustice to happen to them.

i agree that it is kinder and better if you notify your first wife before getting a second one, however this doesnt change the fact that one isnt obliged to do so as scholars say. maintaining justice is in that which a wife has a right over the husband such as clothing food accomodation etc

After doing a deep research i realised the generalizing comes from the men they see in their own family, so if a female got deadbeat father odds of her generalizing is big likewise if her brothers are criminals she'll see all Faraaxs as criminals. Likewise for a Faraax if his sisters are ciyaal suuq he'll likely see Xalimos as ciyaal suqs.
