I am newbie here and I just thought brother got a point, but after connecting some dots here I finally got why he feels suspicious.

Tbh educated women that work in stem fields besides nursing aren't looking to date niggas in the trades like that. Even if they earn a lot of money they still prefer a guy working corporate or in stem. This isn't exclusive to somalis either. It's all women.
They want professional niggas. The somali millennials got fucked because they barely had any mentorship growing up so a decent amount of them didn't turn out well career wise. They still aren't broke but their career opportunities were pretty limited.
Gen Z is doing way better though.
A lot of these millennial chicks are very cultured too and want an educated Somali nigga. The ones aren't as cultured are willing to marry out but the rest are just willing to wait until they find an educated one or another abdi that took a different route and is earning good money.
Overall a decent amount of the millennial somali dudes got hoed. Raised in a poor area, no active father figure, and no decent role models. They got fucked over.
A lot of the stem xalimos were honestly just motivated because they wanted freedom. That strict upbringing where they were forced to stay home all the time and cook and clean made them want to study and get a solid degree.
