Puntland had biometric registration for its forces well in the works since 2014 however some members of the old guard resisted it for a while. Biometrics was the final option in a long road in trying to stamp out corruption in the police and military forces in Puntland. Finally some influential members against it stepped aside for a peaceful retirement thus allowing it to occur at a breakneck speed.

You telling me to stfu for stating the obvious. Military reforms, biometric registering of soldiers, wage increase, restructure in military and changes in positions Etc. It’s been implemented and introduced by N&N. It’s a good thing pl is doing it too now.
