Why is an Egyptian using THAT word? There is probably a version of that word that exists in Arabic that he could have used.

Also, at the risk of sounding paranoid, I think people are making up shit just to get us cooked because what was the point? The guy even says it's not a problem to have preferences, so he's aware of the term being possibly negative.

This is why I support using the Wadaad script or some other Arabic writing instead. Latin makes it way too easy for Somali words to spread

It’s too late to gatekeep the word j*reer. My cousins told me they hear it all the time in secondary school now, the same way we hear people call Somalis “mali”. It’s become Uk slang.
