With Ivory Coast a lot of French speaking sahelian muslims immigrate there But What do you think the Muslim population of Ethiopia is they keep putting it at 35 percent in the censusNigeria became Muslim majority a while ago, next up is Ethiopia/Ivory Coast in 5-6 years.
the end of the cold war was a major blow to african countries. they could be neutral or pick a side. but with a unipolar world american tyranny was unleashed. The good news is that the incompetent, cash strapped regimes in Africa may find it increasingly difficult to control such large populations; and this could be an opportunity to start pushing demands for extensive reforms.
Maybe your grandfather was but mine wasn'tWe still got colonised, which is a huge L that still affects. We were controlled, gaalos literally carved up our ethnic lands to their will.
all somalis were colonised in the end. today most somali territories are in direct foreign occupation. somalis are pathetic disgraceful people. here you bragging because your grandfather lived under one of those "protectorates" that were british playtoys or bulldozed by the fascist party in a matter of months.Maybe your grandfather was but mine wasn't
About 45% now, the Habesha are shrinking vis-a-vis the rest of Ethiopia due to lower fertility rate and an increase in the level of contraceptive use and effectiveness overtime. With Ivory Coast a lot of French speaking sahelian muslims immigrate there But What do you think the Muslim population of Ethiopia is they keep putting it at 35 percent in the census

Fertility declined in all regions of the country except Afar, Somali, and Benishangul-Gumuz National Regional States during the last decade. It remained constant in Afar National Regional State (4.9 vs. 5.0 children per woman) and Benishangul-Gumuz National Regional State (5.4 vs. 5.2 children per woman) between 2000 and 2011. However, in Somali National Regional State the total fertility rate increased from 5.7 children per woman in 2000 to 7.1 children per woman in 2011. In Amhara National Regional State, however, had the greatest decline in the total fertility rate (5.9 vs. 4.2 children per woman) during the last decade as compared to Oromiya National Regional State (6.4 vs. 5.6 children per woman), Southern Nation Nationalities and Peoples National Regional State (5.9 vs. 4.9 children per woman), and Tigray National Regional State (5.8 vs. 4.6 children per woman)

Impossible to predict. All of this depends on how the Tigray war ends. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

The fact the population is booming in 2022 speaks to the TOTAL failure of African govs.
China, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc could have easily done this, why didn't they? Why is the FIRST thing they did was obsessively bringing down the fertility rate? Because they knew the trap you fall into if you don't control population growth.
The higher the birth rate the higher the economic growth has to be. A lot of African countries have become poorer over the last 40 years since population growth is higher than economic growth. Somewhere like Niger (population growth of 4.0%) needs to grow at 7% JUST not to stagnate, which is insane
Somalia’s fertility rates are crazy. We’ll soon be taking over Kenya and Ethiopia. Won’t be long till we see a Somali president in both nations inshallahDemographics is destiny and Africas population booming while the rest of the world is getting much older might be a blessing in disguide.
Fertility rates will naturally decline in when education and the countries GPD rises. I wish Africa can have higher fertility rates then rest of the world until 2050. Fertility is an important factor in geopolitics.
We need to maintain at least 4 children per women until 2050, this will give us a huge advantage population wise in East AfricaSomalia’s fertility rates are crazy. We’ll soon be taking over Kenya and Ethiopia. Won’t be long till we see a Somali president in both nations inshallah
