why is this such a big deal, what other ethnicity argues over this shit. If a person who lives in the gulf views themselves Arab, why care? Some of my family live in the gulf and they 100% view themselves as arabs and are treated as such. why do somalis in the west care about how someone may identify you dont see pakistanis or Afghanis arguing over this. 99% of Somalis think this way. I am the only one who has been pushing back against this for years. I was ridiculed for claiming to be black even though almost all who were doing the ridiculing are dark skin.
