I know it makes me sad. Our traditional look gone. The civil war really did a number on us. An entire generation grew up in a completely different Somalia than our parents and grandparents grew up in. I wonder if we can ever go back to our traditional looks. It was elegant and classy. Even the women who chose to cover their hair wore traditional garbasaar in public.This documentary could never be replicated today for the sole reason that these traditional clothes are just not used anymore Especially the men. We live with balaayada football shirts now not even regular shirts
