A Message to the Somali Youth from the Richest Man in Somalia

For example, in the Bakaara market, there is Cabdalle Shideeye (named after one of the founders of the trade), where you could/can buy forged Somali and other passports. They also buy fake degrees there among other things.
MY adeer was talking about this market how people used to buy passports and ak47s from there back in the civil war times. I thought they stopped these forgeries now

What grudges? Axmed Nuur Jimcaale? what are you talking about?
I am islamophic now? This isn't the first time a Hormuud worker, called me a kaafir so whatever lol.

BTW, few days ago you were denying the existence of the n20 currency. Well, guess what? I found a "western source" to back up my claim yaa kadaab. Here's you few days ago:

You keep accusing me of grudges/resentment but you never specify towards whom I am resentful. I am just describing real life that I have experienced... You just make up shit and post long-ass AI slop.

I will keep pointing out your misinformation and God willing everyone who is not maangaab will see you as what you are - a troll with access to ai.

She writes like a PR BOT and if you dare to disagree with her, she will insult you. Never in my life have I seen someone claim that there is no corruption in Somalia's private sector.

Absurd. Religion has nothing to do with wealth. What a stupid thing to say.

Beenleyda is back.
Al barakaat was (as Hormuud is today) heavily involved in islamist activities across the country. 90% of its workforce were literal wahhabis. Yes, they gave shares - ceded, as in isbaaro - to almost every warlord/armed man. But the company was owned by select ittixaad+Mooryaan+ganacsato, ie powerful men. Annagaa dalka joognay markii la sanction gareeyay, na warayso, afka ha iska taagine.

Hormuud owns these companies - weligaaba cabaad.

This guy is the son of a rich Duduble chief - he inherited his wealth and made good deals with ittixaad/warlords - just like the jihadi/warlord Abuukar Cumar cadaan.

Waryaadaha, naagtan waxay hormuud ama Xamar ka sheegto ha aaminina. She's full of shit. Probably, some Hormuud pr worker.

Disinformationist naag
Abti stop pocket watching and get your monies up.

@Idilinaa is good hearted but out of touch.

These were notes issued by the central government:

Read closely to what it says:

"The notes were then siezed by United Somali Congress(USC) interim President ALi Mahdi Mohamed, whose Army and supporters were referred to as "Mogadishu Northern Forces" where these notes continue to circulate in the areas under their control (i.e north and around Mogadishu)

You were claiming that Somali business or religious leaders printed the notes

But your own link actually proves the opposite. The warlords hijacked and printed counterfeit versions, flooding the areas they controlled.

In fact, the business and religious communities opposed the counterfeit circulation because it destabilized trade.
After the collapse, it wasnโ€™t โ€œbusinessmen printingโ€ that flooded the market , it was primarily warlords, militias, and even the Ethiopian war machine that pumped counterfeit notes into circulation to fund themselves.

In fact, the Somali business community and Islamic courts/religious leaders were against it. They outlawed counterfeiting and openly refused to use or legitimize those fake print runs:

In reality, the public and business community were united across clan lines against the warlords.

And today is even more different. After the U.S.-backed Ethiopian invasion, the Somali government re-established a central bank which now regulates the entire financial system , a system thatโ€™s 100% Sharia-compliant, rooted in community values and ethical banking principles. The fact that the new notes have been delayed until now shows how carefully itโ€™s being handled. Add to that the rise of Somali business networks and fintech, and when they issue, the system will be strong enough to stabilize it.

There is no such thing as โ€˜rival clan businessesโ€™ or whatever nonsense youโ€™re spewing. Somalis freely do business with one another and cross-invest across regions, cities, and neighborhoods. Any major Somali business you look up has investments and branches spread across the country. People sell, rent, and trade with each other regardless of clan background.

Somalia is, in fact, a horizontally high-trust society, and that trust has been the foundation of Somaliaโ€™s business success.

Also , most of what Iโ€™ve shared comes from Somalis who lived it and studied it. Iโ€™m not speaking as a foreigner.

Iโ€™m not a โ€œfalse patriotโ€ just because I refuse to share your resentment or biases. If parroting slander and misrepresentation makes one a โ€˜true patriot,โ€™ then that says more about you than me.

So yes, what I said remains true. You keep pushing slanderous claims out of pure animosity just because the facts donโ€™t fit your narrative, and you think making noise online somehow gets back at people. Shaqo yeelo.

I actually study these things to have a balanced understanding of what really happened and how things work , not to twist them into conspiracy rants like you do. The reality is, your outbursts donโ€™t affect anyone. You think Jimcaale or anyone else is reading your forum posts? Get real.

But sure, blame it on โ€œAIโ€ again , itโ€™s easier than admitting you canโ€™t form a coherent argument and keep resorting to recycled tinfoil hat conspiracies.

What you said does not remain true. You claimed n20 didn't exist.

The link mentioned that the Siad Barre government printed the money but the government collapsed - so, these businessmen/warlords got hold of it after the war and continued to print it for years. This proves my point - you denied its existence at all and now you are agreeing with me only after I provided evidence, but you are not accepting being wrong - you are at the same time insisting you were right all along. Explain to me, how can you be right when you said this:
What is this โ€˜N20โ€™ currency youโ€™re on about? Thatโ€™s not even accurate history.
