Funny how when we look at ‘modern’ marriages women do more than 60% of the housework, give birth and are the primary caregivers and then on top of that actually financially contribute. That is what most of the studies point to and actual real life. The reality on the ground shows that men still expect their spouses to be the ones that mainly look after the home whilst the wife is also a joint breadwinner.

Yet in more traditional societies it’s normal for women to have maids, other women helping them ect.

Wallahi all of these rants about modern women in the West isn’t fair, especially when you’re married to a woman back home whom you said you got a maid for. The ‘modern’ woman cooks and cleans her own shit and goes and does a 9/5 when we have traditional woman back home ordering around their maid.

The reality is that women in the West do most of the cooking and cleaning and on top of that provide, yet they’re still complaining.
