Where is that? I used to share a house with 2 other blokes who had a huge impact on my dietary consumption. One was a Japanese student exchange and the other an Aussie friend from primary school. Went to Japan and tasted whale meat, delicious.
Taught my dad how to fish and gut them last week. Afterwards, we had a fish barbeque and he enjoyed it thoroughly. My mum hates all kinds of seafood.
Good bcs a lot of the alternative diet folks are highly preachy and its rather annoying. Is it on moral grounds for you or health reasons? Because I find moral pescetarianism to be hypocritical

Moral? Nope, it is just what they feed the meat and chicken industries. Having said that, the oceans, rivers and the seas are polluted too, but imagine knowing that they feed dried brain pigs as feed stock to cattle and human female hormones and antibiotics to chicken, I took the risk with seafood and I’m enjoying it.
For me I really like seafood too but I just like meat as well, Lobster and Trout are my favourites.

When I retire, my plan is to own a good boat and travel around while I fish and live off the sea. Help me find a Halima who is likewise.

Since, we have the longest coast in Africa, imagine if Somalis ditched nomadic life and became fishermen and those in the diaspora invested in fisheries industries, we would’ve been out poverty and a nation that relies on handouts and relatives sending them money. If families earn decent incomes, they could send their kids to schools and improve the profession of their fathers. Look at Iceland whose economy relies on fishing during summer and they took in Somali refugees. We need a mental reawakening.

I am not too sure but the largest Somali community live in Melbourne and we are not even as big as Arabs maybe 10k or less Aussie hustler may have more info I don't know that many Somali to be honest
