The AI is merely a glorified autocorrection and auto-fill. It needs to train on a data and judgement (corrections) provided and supervised by the humans to make the right(right here depends on the human bias) outputs. So, the level of bias these outputs may have depends on who trained them and on which data.
So does that mean the AI can be bias or racist? The answer is yes, definitely.

Lol, AI still picks up on human bias. It really depends on who trained the AI system. This doesn’t mean anything.
Also, you’re a dark skin man, from a nation of dark skinned people. Also, light skin Somalis will be seen as dark skin by the vast majority of people who are white or very light.

AI loves me. It is biased toward features.
I really don't care as it is stating the obvious. Large eyes, a small nose and full lips are indicators of youth and attractiveness. Also there are inherent biases based on those that created it.

Well I know AI would see Somali girls as as better looking than Somali men. 
Especially if Twitter were the data source. The women would assert this to be objective and fair. While the men would whine about the lack of representation with the deck stacked against them thanks to a well-known actor and his famous one-liner, "I'm the captain now!"
