It's haraam for a muslim to celebrate Christmas because you are indirectly agreeing that Jesus was God or son of God and he was born on December 25
We can celebrate for cultural reasons. It doesn't mean we believe it's a real thing like Santa is not real. Have you had hot chocolate and ginger bread Christmas morning? There's a spirit in customs.
Regardless of your reason it's forbidden in islam.a muslim is not allowed to imitate non muslim and celebrate their religious holidays
How do you know that? I think you need to try it next year. You can't do it now it is too late to buy decorations and bake ginger bread.
