I am actually Indian and Somali mixed race. While it is true that having money does insulate you from the dregs of society, the online rhetoric does bleed into the "real world" by influencing peoples perceptions of you. I hope that the online reputation of both of my communities increases as time goes on. I have noticed that users here will partake in the name calling of Indians but cry when the same happens to them. In my experience, Indian Americans are more compassionate towards the Somali side of my family than others due to high rates of liberalism. On the other hands, the contempt Arabs have shown towards either side is noticeable and horrid.

I mean the Reform party and some conservative mps are trying to get the data on child benefit, national insurance contributions and some more. I'm not really worried about the data as I believe they probably won't get what they're looking for. The problem is they're targeting our community, inciting violence against us; this will inevitably increase anti-somali hate crimes.
Don't forget Farage was one of the leading voices that spread misinformation about the Southport attack.

I agree. Somalis stick out amongst immigrant groups. Here in the UK we don't particularly fit in any categories which makes us an easy target. We literally have loads of muslim politicians(mainly asian) and only a small handful sticks up for us. They only care and protect for their own.
