After the local elections are concluded, the region will have 3 or 5 official parties that will decide the future of the region, whether the time is enough to hold parliamentary elections or if a small extension is needed. Anyone who isn't part of those 3/5 parties will have no say about what happens in the country.

Nope. During AY the constitution was a draft and the term was 3 years, another drafted version came out under Cadde Muuse and the term was changed to 4 year term. When it was finalized during Faroole the term was changed to 5 years. A salient detail is that the draft versions of the constitution and the finalization of the constitution did not happen in the last year of the sitting president’s term but at the beginning of their presidency. It was an evolving process but not a flat out extension.

The elections must and will happen on time. Deni will come and go but Puntland will last InshAllah.
