6 Killed, 7 injured in Puntland President’s Convoy Accident

six soldiers were killed and 7 others wounded in a fatal road accident involving a motorcade escorting Puntland president Abdullahi Said Deni, as he headed to Garowe from Bossaso.

The incident took place when one of the vehicles said to be driven at high speed rolled over in the vicinity of Karin-dhiig hill between Dangoroyo district and Libaaho villages, in Nugal region.

Other reports indicate that among those killed is the Commander of the 4th Darawish Forces of Puntland, General Mohamed Mohamed Warsame.
