What is the annual budget of Amisom in Somalia?

5,000 soldiers x 1,800$ (A salary I keep hearing) is around 9million a month. This doesn’t even include the costs of each soldiers food, and personal protective equipment and consumables.

How many litres of diesel is being used to support Amisom per month? Bet it’s more then what some gobols collect in taxes.

The salaries, admin fees and fuel per month could reach $20million a month.

If 400,000 Somalis could donate $100 a month it would be $40million/month.

Why aren’t we taking 1000 soldiers from every Gobol and issuing a “Security Bond” to Somali donars from around the world?

I would contribute $100 a month in a heart beat if I knew there was a platform I can log into and track costs, milestones and where every single dollar is going.
