Puntland towns should prepare itself to lead in the following health outcomes.

1. Life expectancy
2. Infant Mortality
3. TB free
4. Child Immunisation
5. Sewage and water treatment plants which will address all the water related infections.
6. Lowest Malnourishment in Somalia

I know Puntland have the most 'mch' in Somalia, our nurses/mid-wives are prepared to deliver puntland babies remote or urban and eliminate early death outcome. I can't wait to see the latest statistic for infant death rates after the amount OF MCH interventions we put in place rurally.

I also think to address our 'low life expectancy' we need to address 'elderly' common diseases, by doing this, our life expectancy will be longer. We must research why our elders are dying earlier then necessary and begin putting in place 'early medical interventions' for seniors. My real joy is to 'brag' to Somalis my elderly are 'alive' and yours die 20-30 years before ours.

We must also prepare our kids with children 'immunisation' to combat preventable diseases so puntland kids are seen as the healthiest specimens in Somalia.

We need to present 'healthy diets' to Puntites. Not just eating 'rice n meat'. We also need to diversify our food in-take to include more vegetables, fruits, fish to combat 'malnourishment'. They are malnourished because they are not eating from all the 'food groups'.

Health-stores are becoming popular in Australia. I might set up health shop and provide at least 'vitamins' to puntites who cannot afford or is unavailable natural food groups.

The more people in Puntland urbanize in towns and cities, the easier it becomes for the government to provide services. Of course, having too many urban centers dilutes the impact of government spending, but it is much better than having to serve a population that is 60% nomadic.

The distance between Galkacyo and Bosaso is equal to the distance between London and Edinburgh. Any increase in urbanization makes it much easier for the government and NGOs to help people.

@Thegoodshepherd I suggest we prioritise and 'target' the vulnerable segments. Children n Senior should be where we 'expend' the most effort. 1. We want less infant deaths and healthier youth population and 2. We want higher life expectancy and therefore senior services are mandatory. We can slowly work to target the rest of the 'young population' as last 'priority' as they tend be healthiest segment in any population especially if you have good child services such as maternity wards, immunisation, etc.

@Thegoodshepherd I hope the current admin begins demanding 'data' from hospitals. All hospitals must store 'data' electronically for each patient, especially birth n death register, the application must be created by PL govt and all practises have to use it. We can create programs to manipulate the 'data' to find out general needs of infants to ensure a healthy life, general needs of seniors to expand life-expectancy. Data is paramount, without data, we may not be addressing important areas.

@Abdalla loves to compete on health outcomes, best schools performance each year, unemployment rates, poverty rates, clean water access, electricity coverage rate.

I believe Puntland will develop very quickly if we did a proper 'census' of our population, we could work with so much 'data' and separate 'districts' and measure these things locally and each year report on they're ranking within Puntland.

This will create 'jealousy' and districts to get they're act together. But as of now all data is just pathetic 'best guess estimations' and not reliable. Puntland could also 'secure' more 'tax revenue' by charging people 'ID cards' each 5 years. War xitaa 'gaadhiyashi' and homes waa 'diwangeliyan' lakin 'dadka' lama 'diwangeliyo' waa arin lala yaabo. How do u execute policy without reliable 'data'. Which district needs more infrastructure, more job creation, more health funding, more security, more schools, none of this can be decided untill we have a census and we rank each district for they're needs.

The next big 'legacy' task after Deni is finished will be a comprehensive 'Registration' of Puntites each 10 years, issuance of ID cards, market reforms to ensure everyone 'id's' themselves for 'utilities services, bank loans, and other services'. @Neero pay attention carefully, this will be huge 'reform legacy' for your sub-clan after Deni is done.

I must say on the 'down-low' all the reliable data I have seen. Galdogob is a strong perfomer. They are in the top 3 schools, top 5 students each year, and their malaria free. I think if we had other 'data' to work with they wud be leading also. I know when I go to PL, i'll be visiting galdogob as an 'ISIM' of bah dubays to listen n learn on how to improve bah dubays. Meeshu horumar taalo ama kaaga fican 'wala aada' no shame in it that's ignorant geeljire mentality.
