Why they still leaving there? What reason that make them to stay there? @Rastavelli-67 do you have any idea?

Bro have you considered Botswana?I'd forgot to mention Kenya ,Tanzania , Mozambique and Uganda
These are the countries that most Somalis have been through via Tahriib before arriving here.
Why didn't we applied asylum in these countries instead of South Africa ?
We were seen as illegal aliens in Kenya and risked deportation or could have ended up in Dadaab , trust me life there was miserable , as there are no bright opportunities.
In Tanzania it isn't called Libya for no reason , it can be very dangerous for those who don't have papers, you don't have rights and be in limbo in Tanzanian jails for upto 10 years where rape is common , if you don't have money may God be with you , their way of discouraging illegal immigrants
Living in Uganda as statusless is a lengthy time of imprisonment.
Uganda is also a gateway to the dangerous journey up ahead towards Sudan and Libya which many Somalis are currently doing.
Life in Uganda especially in Kampala is not safe for Somalis , stories of women being raped by Ugandan police.
Mozambique is dangerous too for undocumented , they will place you in detention for years and grant you refugee status , good luck since Portuguese is spoken the language barrier.
Many preferred South Africa not just Somalis , but Nigerians, Zimbabweans , Mozambicans , Malawians , Senegalese , Ethiopians , Eritreans , Ghanaians and so many nationalities .
For various reasons this is where xenophobia stemmed from.
These dudes so quick to Somalis but donβt kill those whites lmao sad asf... bunch of *****es.
Many of us raised awareness among the community to carry arms or hire security contracters.Wallahi you're not safe anywhere on this planet as a non white. At least I live somewhere I can protect myself. You're a slave if you can't own a gun where you live.
At one point I took into consideration to relocate to Botswana as close friends and relatives live and work there many are into delivering logistical goods as many geeljires are professional truck drivers.Bro have you considered Botswana?
They don't have the guts to confront a boer or attack a white man in the cities , it wasn't a month long , during a protest in CBD this white man called a madow police a Kafir ( in Afrikaans) , the madows passer-bys just ignored and walked by , the next day the madows were justifying a lynching of a Nigerian national and protesting on the streets. These dudes so quick to Somalis but donβt kill those whites lmao sad asf... bunch of *****es.

I have been there several times , actually I have lost count how many times , the environment is different than South Africa and somalis looked happier and younger but during their time in South Africa they looked 20 years older .
, Definitely a nice country, warm and friendly people , the only problem the living expenses are ridiculously at exacerbated prices.
I have my eyes on Namibia which have my interests.

They have a perplexed inferiority and self hatred.
Mostly sought asylum upon arrival and were registered into the system,AUN.
Is there a path to citizenship at all for Somali illegals?
Are the Somalis there predominantly undocumented or what?
AUN to the brother and everyone else that does everything they can to feed their families. This is the just one more reason why when people tell me that life is good or great they forget about the ones who never had a chance. We are all here through struggle and sacrifice. Can you at least acknowledge this?Mostly sought asylum upon arrival and were registered into the system,
They were in this process for weeks and months, sometimes in detention centers.
Asylum seekers are granted to earn a living and thus they are mostly in townships making a living. But the risks are too high , they still can be deregistered and marked as an alien. They are at potential risks abd have limited privileges.
There are Temporary and permanent residency status , most somalis have permanent residency , only 35 % are South African citizens.
Permanent residency are living and working , they have privileges that asylum seekers don't have , their children are allowed to study in public schools , actually Somalis established Islamic schools it wasn't like that before 2010 , they are allowed to obtain a driving license, you can get a medical checkup by only paying small insurance fee, so many enabling things and privileges that were impossible back then,
There are several procedures to go through before being eligible for citizenship ,
Many went to integration programmes and courses which is mandatory.
It mostly takes 10 years , proof of residency but many men married local women / Somali women with SA residency status and obtained citizenship within 3-5 years .
It took me a decade to be SA national , I don't regret it at all ,I can travel anywhere with ease and borders dissolve easily, years before the temptation to risk tahriib to Brazil was very high for us youngsters...
My uncle would sleep under his rpg back home. I was too young to understand why but as I've gotten older I understand why. Most of us carry poison in our hearts and minds.
