He most likely paid a bail bonds man, where he basically paid down 5% or 10% of the bail, and then setup a payment plan for the remainder. That is how people who don 't have the full amount do. But there must have been someone, most likely his family member, with a house or property whose value is equivalent or more than 250,000 signed as the guarantor of that bail unless he fails to pay the bail. It is like taking a loan and using it to pay for the bail, and then pay the monthly payment. The guarantor is used by the bail bonds man as an insurance policy
