What matters is that they still control vast swathes of territory throughout the country and are able to attack the capital at will killing civilians.

This could of been avoided if we put aside our differences and worked together,as Somalis, to defeat the imperialist europeans, but no.... Clans were promised power in return for selling out their fellow kin and we never bothered developing any technology ourselves, always relying on foreign powers to prop us up, in this case the Ottomans and now the UN. When will we learn to step into modernity and create a nation for our people? Will we face the same fate as reer Ogaden or NFD, annexed and our culture way of life and history suppressed and spat upon to the point that we are seen as nothing?
