Theres no reason for a 21 year old adult who is a senior in college to go for a 17 year old high school sophomore
Its weird

Someone in their early 20s is in their peak in terms of attractiveness more so than an awkward teenager brace-faced and barely out of puberty. Puberty results in a cratering of self-confidence. These young girls are less self-assured and likely inexperienced compared to their early-20s counterparts. Some older guys are drawn to them for that reason.:trumpsmirk:

@Jake from State Farm there isn't a drastic difference between 17 and 18 but there is certainly a legal one. The law constantly shifts and changes. Teenagers didn't quite exist at the turn of the century. Puberty was a foray into adulthood in the past. The rule book isn't the same anymore and the game has changed several times (in terms of the law and what people find socially acceptable). In fact, things guys used to do 20-years ago is intolerable today (in the west).

:drakelaugh:We don't quite live in Japan. Thankfully.

Tbh relations between men and women are dependent on what they want. If a man is interested in a serious relationship, he'll probably go for a woman in his level, because mutual respect is needed.

If he just wants sex, then convincing a woman who's in a lower status than him is a lot easier than going for a woman in his level or higher.

This is not to say I condone this behaviour. Just providing an explanation.

Doesn’t age of consent come into play here?

I didn’t know so many states had it at 16.

Would it even never classified as pedophillia if a 21 year old dude in Washington slept with a 16 year old?
Please open up a dictionary. Pedophillia is an adult having sexual attraction to pre pubescent children, so under 10 usually. Stop throwing around terms that you clearly don’t know the meaning to.

A 21 year old can be a sophomore, whilst the 17 year could be a senior.

Furthermore, college is pretty much high school x2. Neither have any real world experience, most live at home, don’t pay any bills or manage finance, etc.

You guys seem to have a problem with male biology. We’re now seen as pedophiles and deviants for being attracted to someone who is sexually mature, yet being attracted to the same gender or even changing your gender is seen as perfectly normal. Nacalaa, don’t bring your gaal views here.

Why do you feel so strongly about this
