The best trick is finding an essay with the same topic and using Quillbot Premium to paraphrase the whole thing. Just edit it a bit after to make it how you would write it. Then, use a Turnitin similarity checker to see the similarity score. Did that every and now for rough nights.
I have to reference a lot so I canโ€™t just take someone elseโ€™s essay. I used to use some international studentโ€™s quilbot premium account but I donโ€™t have access to it anymore unfortunately. So I copy and paste in every few paragraphs lol.

How do you use the Turnitin similarity checker? I canโ€™t sign in as a student.

I use to have a friend who knew how to make Turnitin instructor accounts. He would just make a classroom and add a fake assignment dropbox with the similarity checker enabled. I don't think it's possible as a student to use it.

I've seen some YouTube videos that allow access to them but it is risky because they wouldn't put it as non-repository when you submit it and basically your professor can see you uploaded your essay somewhere else.

I heard turnitin gives false positives though. Like it will say something is 25% plagiarised when it isnโ€™t. Do you have a premium quilbot account I could use?

No original thought, or ingenuity required, eh?
Besides, if you are doing that, and not studying the content for gained knowledge, and thereafter applying it, what is the point of going to Uni? What will come of you, say in your first job, when you are assigned a project, which requires original thought?
Most unis allow us to use AI ethically. So using it to generate ideas, for guidance and support and to find references is allowed as long as I fact check and donโ€™t copy word for word.

Using AI as a tool is fine, just like the computer, but when you rely upon it, then it becomes problematic, even more as an educator, in your case. It is good to know you will not be designing microchips, building bridges etc. Mind me not, do trot on.

No, I don't use it anymore. I only used it twice during my first year because I was really lazy but I knew I had to get my shit together later ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm currently using it too. My paranoid ass upload it to Ai detectors to see if my professor can tell.

I had no idea of this beautiful paraphrasing tool. What is it? Can professors see your essay on quilbot if you use it?

No, though just make sure you take a look at what it paraphrased. I used like Grammarly to fix it up a bit and then use the Turnitin checker to see if anything came up.

Anybody know how to make sure Turnitin doesnโ€™t show the whole essay as plagiarism, or a way to humanize the ai written essay?

what is turnitin? :whoo: and is it free?!
Turnitin is a plagiarism prevention service that checks your essay and compares it to it's database of work. It is typically used in North America. It isn't available to use unless you are a student enrolling to a class or if Turnitin allows you to use it as an instructor which requires a code.

Is their a way to make sure it doesnโ€™t detect a essay from chatgbt?
