I was using hotep as an umbrella term and I can assure that yes, while African-Americans claiming to be Israelites and Egyptians exist, I have never seen a single one in real life, despite what the memes and videos tell you. They are a vocal minority and I have only seen them present in discreet circles online, and they are often ridiculed by other African-Americans.I'm sure you have better grasp than me on American issues because I have never been there and im talking from a perspective of outsiders. But you have seen so called hebrew israelite so this concept of we wuz its not only hotep, it includes we wuz hebrew crew aswell and I was talking in general and now in present day. Making your movies is surely better than cry to be included?
Its very possible that Internet have painted a false image for me so I will take your word on this. I dont think making movies are easy for anyone but thats the logical step to take.I was using hotep as an umbrella term and I can assure that yes, while African-Americans claiming to be Israelites and Egyptians exist, I have never seen a single one in real life, despite what the memes and videos tell you. "Making a movie" is a pretty difficult feat over in America. There is a reason why you mostly see sequels and remakes and reboots and adaptations these days, and that's because Hollywood tries to play it safe for some quick money. I admit I'm not too well-versed in the politics of film making, but I don't think it's as simple as "Well, go make your own movie!"
