DUBAI, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia and nuclear-armed Pakistan have signed a formal mutual defense pact, Pakistani state television said on Wednesday, in a move that significantly strengthens a decades-long security partnership.
"This agreement, which reflects the shared commitment of both nations to enhance their security and to achieving security and peace in the region and the world, aims to develop aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression. The agreement states that any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both," a statement from the Pakistani prime minister's office said.

Saudi Arabia already said that if Iran produced nuclear weapons, they would acquire nuclear weapons themselves for protection and there are several avenues they can acquire it through but they will through Pakistan. Saudi Arabia would just be activating an old pact where both states agreed some time ago that Pakistan would provide nuclear protection. Turkey has a similar pact with Pakistan and if Israel forces their hand, all Turkey needs to do is also activate this nuclear defense pact with Pakistan.

China was rhe world's largest economy for like 90% of the last 2,000 years. Theres a reason india was fully colonized and the westerns looked down ok the Indians. But even when 8 of the Western nations invaded china together they never pushed the Chinese too far. They were always recognized as a superpower who was just down on bad times and would quickly rise up again

Even with all that china had to bow its head for most of the second half of the 20th century and not oppose the west. How could any Muslim Muslims country even come close ? In fact if you add the gdp of all 54 members of the organization of islamic cooperation which represents every Muslim country their total gdp would be like 10 trillion to china's 19 trillion

I know, which is why trading sovereignty for "development" like the Muslim lands did is absurd. The west won't actually allow you to develop economies that can actually compete with their corporations, that hurts their bottom line, and prevents exploitation.

Also China did not merely "keep their head low", they played the long game by taking advantage of western deindustrialization, to make the West reliant on them. This is incomparable to the Gulf making themselves completely reliant on the West.
