I’ve said this before but the biggest enemy of minorities are those who advocate for them. It doesn’t matter how wellmeaning they are, they unintentionally just end up creating new problems for them or in their attempts to virtue signal they end up helping in spreading dodgy beliefs who aren’t even mainstream yet.
The average ethnic somali in Somalia harbors no animosity towards ethnic minorities, are they disadvantaged by the current system/face discrimination, yes. But even that has more to do with their lack of power, resources and numbers than any hatred for their kind.
Despite that there are people creating narratives that they are despised and mistreated because they’re not seen as ’somali’ based on online trolling by bored diaspora kids.
they think they are aiding them by saying shit like ”There’s no such thing as the somali ethnicity” ”there’s no difference between lamagoodles and cadcads and bantus, they are exactly the same”
idk whos worse between the online trolls who love to harrass & alienate cadcads/bantus and the virtuesignalling activists who amplify the strange beliefs of online trolls. Or cope by making more outrageous claims about somali identity.
