She is 100% right. Take it from someone who has actually lived in 3 Muslim countries. I know people who were raised in Muslim countries their entire lives and are confused by UK Muslims.

It’s UK Muslims who bring up slavery, no education for women and the other crazy takes that most Muslims in Muslim countries wouldn’t even entertain.

I think some of it is just because Muslims are so scrutinised here. It’s pretty much the same in France/Germany too minus the language barriers.

There was such a concerted effort before to harass and intimidate Muslims living here so they probably just became more radical to counteract that.

I'd fully be on board with their talks if it wasn't always centered around women. Every time I see a big tweet from a UK Muslim dude it's always about what a woman can't or can do. For example the Latina woman who posted her pregnant picture, UK Muslim men harassed her over it. I agree with some of their points regarding falling into temptation and desire but when it's only pointed at women it doesn't make sense. They tweet some misogynistic shit then retweet a GRM Daily post. Women this and women that while your fellow brothers are acting like Ichigo slicing people up and you stay mute about it and sometimes support it. These people like to attack da'ees and "UK Muslims" because they are more religious and less influences by liberalism then in for example America.

It is a veiled attack against Islam. They hate that the UK diaspora is organized and very active in dawah.

Comparing them to Muslims in Muslim countries that have literal dictators who imprison Muslims in some countries even when they start growing a beard, is just another veiled attack against Islam.

Check out the accounts on twitter who usually launch those attacks almost always it is someone far from Islam with some Qawm Lut nonsense in their bio.

Muslims in Muslim countries are more repressed with outright dictatorship. Muslims in western countries grew up in here and understand what liberalism and hollywood spreads is a lie and are more active due to the laws being not at arbitrary.

I think she probably has a point. But she's also as extreme as the people she's talking about. Like omar pointed out she has a weird tweet were she lowkey exposes her worldview and talks about how she'll always be a "rebel" and her views on hierarchy. I don't want to comment on her relationship with islam. But for most people this is an extremely weird view to have of islam and the world. You could even go as far as saying it's dangerous to iman in the heart and would for most people lead to a type of spirtual arrogance.
