Listen, there are Ethiopians troops and Ethiopian military bases in Southern Somalia but none in Somaliland and Farmaajo regularly visits Addis Ababa and asking them to protect him against Al-Shabaab. All Somaliland does is make business with them and allowed them to use their Berbera port which will heavily boost Somaliland economy. Somaliland was an ex-Adal Sultanate territory who fought against the Abyssinians so don't confuse us with you guys.

No saxib the region can't hold such people with such conditions.If you have been to Hargeisa you would know it's population density inside the city is similiar to Jig Jiga.It is larger so I would estimate around 200-400k max population.The climate of the north can't hold a lot of people, somalilands population is most likely around 1.5 million people.The north as a whole doesn't go past 2.5-3 million.Most of the population lives in the south due to the climate , in fact that's why many tribes pushed down southwards.
You're being really ignorant sxb. The latest population conducted by the U.N estimated the Somaliland population passed 4 million. Somalia overall is almost 15 million. Also, you're talking about Puntland which is a full desert, really hot and has a population between 1 million to 2 million. Hargeisa alone is 1.3 million or possibly more.
Somaliland does have the capability to withhold enough population. Remember major cities like Hargeisa and Burco aren't hot but cool. They have enough fertile land and enough abundance of water but it's just the fertile lands aren't fully cultivated and they don't have the technology to distribute enough water or safe water which is why Somaliland are taking big measures of increasing the economy so they can hold alot of population in the future, inshallah.
