‘Somali’ Eyes

Somalis are diverse even though some people try to push that we all look the same. We range from light to dark skin, have type 2 to 4a hair, have long noses or button noses, have big lips to medium lips. But the most agreed upon opinion is that you can always recognise a Somali by their eye area. I agree that there’s a distinct ‘look’ to our eyes

We all have the same eyes. Its the number one thing I look for when identifying another somali. Its very unique feature.

I have big eyes too! But they’re still almond so I don’t look Habesha. Dw round eyes are still found in Somalia, they just tend to be small and round, or almond and large

Exactly, no offence but Somalis are far from ‘Natufian’ features e.g Broad hooked nose, low cheek bones, downturned eyes, small lips
