I lurk in my city sub reddit to keep up to date and they’ve changed a lot recently.

They’re more vocal than ever wanting to stop immigration because they see us as the main culprit for causing the high cost of living, homelessness and taking jobs away.

The situation in Canada is very bad. We have been invaded by 400,000 Punjabi Sikh foreign workers masquerading as international students with the hopes of becoming citizens (but never will due to their low immigration points) while still living like they are in India (bad manners, fraud culture, racism, not associating with people from other backgrounds, etc). There are also hundreds of thousands of other Punjabi Sikhs who received other visas like visitors' visas who overstayed and then switched to other visas like the Labour Market Impact Assessment visa dedicated for jobs that are hard to fill (trucking, etc). Again, they'll never get permanent residency but Canadians' have natural oversight and did not close the loophole of allowing them to do that while in Canada. No one dared to exploit Canada's loopholes except the Punjabi Sikhs. They have almost entirely captured low wage jobs and the trucking industry. They are making their way to take over others and not hire other Canadians. They have destroyed the housing market for anyone who hasn't bought yet as they have no issue paying more because 3-5 different people will contribute to the mortgage.For renters, many can't find a place because they openly say they only want Punjabi Sikhs. This is actually legal when subletting but it was never said openly and if there was discrimination, it was very low and not vocalized. They have created alot of social issues and has made Canada no longer a high trust society. I can write a book about the damage they have done. If the situation is not reversed, we will see Canada no longer be a first world country. The good thing is that finally today a politician has acknowledged the issue while not addressing the community directly. Canadians have been hypnotized and gaslit under our evil PM and are finally waking up. The Conservatives are the Gen Z vote choice, at 40% and have at least a 15% lead compared to the second place party. This would be unheard of in other western countries but it shows how terrible the situation is.

Surrey and Brampton are basically Punjabi Sikh cities. You’re a second class person there. They are also right now in the process of taking over Kitchener. I read a disturbing story of how one of them got hired into management and slowly replaced the whole team through attrition except one who stayed. They outcasted him like a leper.
