Why is it that I have never experienced any of these sorts of incidents? Even a very minor one?

How come Asians and Indians don't make up these stories? Why is it always Blacks and Muslims?

She's not lying, I had a similar experience at the Charles de Gaulle airport.

dont you think being accused of homophobe is more damaging than islamophobia?
asians and indians try to save face and wont stand up to bullying/racism. they avoid any sort of confrontation, know their place etc. simple!

on the other hand, blacks/somalis/muslims are the opposite and confrontational, reactive to bullying, hostility, scrutiny etc. and not afraid to speak out their experience percieved or otherwise.

I was at the same airport. I had a pleasant experience. A few airport workers were rude but I won't make up a situation.

An 18-year-old Muslim woman who claimed that three men attacked her on a Manhattan subway this month and tried to pull off her hijab was charged on Wednesday with filing a false report, the police said.

The woman, Yasmin Seweid, a student at Baruch College, was also charged with obstructing governmental administration, the police said. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Ms. Seweid, of New Hyde Park on Long Island, had told the police that three white men screaming “Donald Trump!” attacked her on Dec. 1 on an uptown No. 6 train at East 23rd Street, DNAinfo.com reported.

She told the police that the men had called her a terrorist and that when she tried to move to the other end of the subway car, one of them followed and tried to pull off her traditional head scarf.

Right, the fact that you witnessed rude workers there is another evidence that she is not lying. French people are arrogant and racist for no reason, everyone who know them knows what kind of people they are.

I'm not saying she's telling the truth (allah knows) but there are incidents where ppl are vocally and violently islamophobic towards visible Muslims (but they also mistake Sikhs)

abdijohnson you arent even remotely muslim, france is prolly gayest country in the world. last i checked gay ppl werent stabbing, bombing and running over trucks with french ppl so their scrutiny and attitude of muslim looking ppl are justified. infact each time terror attack happened in europe there was an increase of islamophobia, hate crimes reported by the police.
that xaliimo needs to understand these circumstances and stop complaining about the shit her folks caused.

I think more Sunnis in one day complain about hypothetical Islamophobia than all the Sunnis who have bothered to tackle extremism in their communities since 2001.

That girl got beat by her family bc of a secret relationship they didn't approve of. I think they even shaved her head iirc

Although her situation is sad, ppl like her make it hard on real victims of anti-Muslim bigotry, of which there are many.
