no, somalis are free to marry whoever they want at an individual level. Southeastern africans see intermarriage as a person โfinally becoming apart of their societyโ. They view women as a commodity to be sold off basically.
We do not agree with that. We as somalis emphasise personal autonomy and do not think other women of other ethnicities belong to us. Thats pure disrespect and objectification

on top of that we cannot marry majority of them anyways. We are muslims, majority of them arent and genetically they are bantu we are cushites. Culturally we are also very different to them. A somali persons first choice would be their own ethnicity. If not it would probably a muslim horner or a sudanese (majority of cases). - i have my own qualms with other cushitic groups like oromo but eritrean is fine

personally i can only go for horner looking men (first choice) or north african/arab. At a very long stretch mixed men would be the last choice. Thats just my preference i want my kids to look somewhat like me without my genes being wiped out. Nothing wrong with a preference.

Very sad. Btw, he has never seen a Somali irl let alone interacted with one of us. Itโs a disturbing obsession. I would say donโt be offended by his tweets but idk anyone who could cares what a madow thinks about anything let alone what they think of us. What I will say is that his account is a glimpse into the fractured madow psyche. He has tweet after tweet denigrating his people to make racists laugh even after they have repeatedly reminded him that heโs beneath them. Despite this, he continues to appeal to them & parades himself around as some kind of madow whisperer. He canโt comprehend the thought of loving your own people, of being proud of your people despite whatever shortcomings they may have. Just FBA things I guess.
