What you mean no longer? it was always like that hence why halimos can't get half of your assets in case of divorce in the UK. The court doesn't recognize it.

not informing the state that you’re married and not having it recognised by law means the marriage is null and to a lot of Islamic scholars means your children are indeed born out of wedlock.
As Muslims we are taught to accept and live by the laws of the land.

anyway say what you want you qashin however no woman with an IQ higher than 68 will accept this since you are basically saying you don’t want to be legally responsible for your child. Akhas! Don’t contact me again.

Its better to be married in the state and islamically. Otherwise you wont get all the state benefits and paper work with children will be a nightmare.

Too many fraud 'islamic' marriages in the U.K and the woman is the one that suffers most of the time. Also this will prevent forced marriages from some cultures I guess.
