Is Aideed The Somalian Hitler

Why don't Somalis talk about this guy who left a 30 year legacy, I find these topics the most intriguing to learn from in terms of what(bad decisions), how do we have a society of knowledge if all the events in Somalia isn't discussed and measured against some agreed criteria.

Anyways wallahi I see him as the Somali hitler who wanted to 'clan genocide' civilians not even 'fight army' it wasn't a 'war' that aideed was proposing when your boys are going into people home and killing un-armed civilian, that's an ethnic genocide and similar to what hitler did to the jewish un-armed civilians in europe.

The other similarities I see aideed with hitler is his clan is dis-empowered from politics similar to how hitler clan the nazis are disempowered. I see a growing 'HAG' movement similar to 'NAZI' movement of people who love the 'man' and his genocide even clans who are not from aideed love him out of mere spite for darod like Isaaq. Isaaq love of Aideed reminds of how Palestinians chant hitler to taunt the Jews.

Does anyone see any similarities or am I over-exagerrating. But aideed did a identical hitler model worldwide targetting civilians and he also has a loyal following of hardcore USC nutters from all Hawiye clans and some Isaaq similar to the Nazi group that is alive today yet the unique trait they all share is they are all 'disempowered' fringe groups. Will HG become like that in Somalia, the way NAZIS are treated as fringe group and kept away from power?

PS - I already have said I admire any leader that leaves a legacy so I can read and grow from it, regardless if that legacy was positive or negative. It's better then reading about GAAS/SHARIF/HSM/FARMAJO.

I consider a legacy a lasting impact on the Nation. I don't consider 4 year presidencies legacies like gaas/hsm/sharif, those are just 'politician' their not really the type of calibre states-man of Siyad, Abdilahi, Aideed, Egal. Yes all of them were STATES-MAN level leaders, just because u don't like the legacy some left is irrelevant u emotional little fkn .

They left us something oo aan ka baran karo, what the hell has the last 10 years left us except 'boringggggggggggggggggggg' isqabqabsi and time-wasting and stalemate and circulating thru charities. I have no major confidence that Deni will even leave a legacy 'lugaha' laga gaban doona because Somalis fear if u leave a legacy you will be respected for life and your kids gain 'social status' into anywhere Somalia like abdirazaq haji hussein and aden cade. Their ball busters Somalidu u need to realize that, their not really about politics.

I would gladly sacrifice 100,000 Somalis for Allah to bring us back another Warrior Aideed, Somalia would have been stabled and ruled by an dictator like the rest of the African and Arab nations and we would all live in peace.

What worse the stalemate and how no leader can leave any legacy that is lasting. They can barely hold agreements, make decisions wallahi just watch them markay shiran, waa burbura automatically, it's back to stalemate. It's continous cycle of nothingness, at least destruction is something and your doing something, rather then sitting there and making no decisions or reaching no milestone.

Lmaooo you're a supremacist which isn't good, go to the masjid and cure yourself. Secondly, Ahmed Gurey was a Somali and there's sources to back that up. He wasn't xabashi or any ajnabi.

Lol, to be honest im not supremacist, i would gladly kill thousands of HG if it means betterment of Somalia, im just being an realist.

Aideed may have been an Moryaan, but at least he had principle, as he was no foreign stooge especially an Ethiopia stooge like the most Somali leaders were and still are.

So no aidiid is not the hitler of Somalia. He did kill a lot of civilians at the beginning of the war but by 1992 he was facing battle hardened SNF fighters and USC abgaal.

I personally think we rushed to quick and interfered with him and should've said, we will let u rule for an interim period till elections and let the nation live, I definitely would've tanasuled if I was in power for SSDF at the time. What is 5 years going to hurt u while the nation progresses and the guy wouldn't of won elections, once the interim period is over.
