if you guys have read the story, the father and mum were separated and the dad lived in the basement and the brother lived in a flat above the house. He was given the go ahead to stay at the house by the mother who lived in the house with her daughter. Otherwise, it would’ve been very difficult to charge the brother with murder for killing a person in their home that the courts asked his sister never to meet him.
