What would the Europeans have done without being gifted those advances? Those are just the 4 biggest ones lol there are other important ones.
OK forget the things they invented during those ages. What about recently. Majority of big breakthroughs in the past 20 were mostly outside of China.
The few Chinese that won Nobel, Abel or the Fields prize were all living full-time outside of China.
However even they consist of a tiny percentage of those prizes by ethnicity.
It's even worse when you average it by the number of scientists/engineers active by those that had a unique breakthroughs or original invention by ethnicity.
However they still published the most papers in specialized fields that contributed to the global knowledge repository of those fields so they're not as useless as some others .. cough camel herders cough
