Ewww:hova: I’m so not eating when I visit Japan next year, sticking only to sushi

I wanna visit one day. I'll try everything halal

Go review verse 5 of Surah Maidah. An actual Muslim would never describe traditional Japanese food as "halal" as they would know that outside of food prepared by other Muslims, only food prepared by People of the Book is halal and that Muslims eat sushi because of it's permissibility of being from the sea

Is everything ok at home? lol

I think he meant prepared by Muslim people, there are Japanese Muslims walaal. When I was in South Korea they had this street full of halaal food and it was sold by Muslim Koreans.

@NotMyL we all know what I meant as it's obvious. But he came and said "an actual Muslim..." lol he either doesn't comprehend what "halal" means and trying to be the Imam of Somalispot or he's got a chip on his shoulder.

Unnecesarily rude either way @astorecalledkmart

Silly me sxb, but when you repeatedly glorify Tigraynas who are Christian, while never mentioning Tigre, who are the exact same people, but Muslim, when you constantly spell "Wallahi" as "wllhi" (it is an oath in God's name - spell it correctly if you're using it), when you mention the Prophet's name without ever saying sallallahu alaihi wasallam or peace be upon him in any of your posts, when you say that the Quran never mentioned dogs in a positive light despite two different surahs doing so, one of which is Surah Kahf which Muslims read every Friday, when you're literally the only person on SSpot to ask for "sources" to back up universally known and easily accessible hadeeth, I become suspicious

In any case, for the sake of sister @NotMyL and others reading who are innocent bystanders in this thread, I apologize and will not derail any further

I never said that the Quran NEVER put dogs in a positive light but, for the vast majority, it discourages friendlyness towards them and the prophet (pbuh) warned against black dogs, idk why but maybe you might tell us Imam sheikh.

I accept your apology, just don't call fellow Muslims Christians on this forum again. It's one of the worst accusations u could throw at any forumer here. You can troll but there's a limit.

Also, having studied EA history, I admire Tigrayans for being the most ancient, powerful, and most important Cushitic civilisation and never being enslaved unlike Oromos and Somalis. The land of Punt, D'm't, Axum, Medri Bahri, etc all came from them.

Our Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam encouraged not being friendly with dogs??? You're exposed sxb. I was suspicious before, but you've just confirmed that you're gaal when you said that our religion encourages being unfriendly to dogs

Abu Huraira radi allahu `anhu (may God have mercy on him) reported Allah’s Messenger ﷺ (peace be upon him) as saying: “There was a dog moving around a well whom thirst would have killed. Suddenly a prostitute from the prostitutes of Bani Isra’il [Children of Israel] happened to see it and she drew water in her shoe and made it drink, and she was pardoned because of this.” (Sahih Muslim 2245)

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A man suffered from thirst while he was walking on a journey. When he found a well, he climbed down into it and drank from it. Then he came out and saw a dog lolling its tongue from thirst and licking the ground. The man said: This dog has suffered thirst just as I have suffered from it. He climbed down into the well, filled his shoe with water, and caught it in his mouth as he climbed up. Then he gave the dog a drink. Allah appreciated this deed, so he forgave him.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, is there a reward for charity even for the animals?” The Prophet said, “Yes, in every creature with a moist liver is a reward for charity.” (Sahih Muslim 2244)

Nowhere in the Quran does it say that dogs are bad or haraam to touch, or that they are even najaas. Indeed, dogs are mentioned twice in the Quran, both in a positive light:

i) Surah Kahf (chapter 18) - the believers who escaped persecution by going to the cave were accompanied by their dog who God also protected and made to sleep. Specifically verse 18 ""their dog stretching out its forelegs at the threshold"

ii) Surah Ma'idah (chapter 5) verse 4 - "Lawful for you are all good things, and [the prey] that trained [hunting] dogs and falcons catch for you."

Good night sxb. Go to sleep.

Here, let's see what real sheiks say about keeping dogs. Your clownery gets boring @astorecalledkmart

upload_2019-11-22_22-19-42.png

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for herding livestock or a dog that is trained for hunting, two qiraats will be deducted from his reward each day.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5163; Muslim, 1574.

[al-Tawbah 9:115]

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The purification of the vessel of one of you, if a dog licks it, is to wash it seven times, the first time with soil” – and in another hadeeth, “If a dog licks a vessel…” All of the ahaadeeth mention licking only; they do not mention any other part of the dog, regarding them as naajis is based only on analogy.

It's unislamic to kiss dogs @astorecalledkmart stop being silly

@astorecalledkmart & @Waaqo of Punt I have no bone in this fight but I believe dogs are permissible if you are using them for hunting, herding, protecting your livestock. Anyways your suppose to be kind to animals doesn’t matter if they are halal or not.
