@Jaydaan

Sxb, is Britain a two party State? I would've voted for others like the social democrats. I told you that I'm a swinging voter and have no loyalty towards any political party.

For crying out loud. Labour and the cons are the only parties that have a realistic chance of winning. The Greens have one seat in the whole country. Stop talking out of your arse.

Also calling Corbyn a Marxist shows you have been drinking the murdoch Australian cool aid. Go and read his manifesto, it only looks Marxist if you live in America and have been taught that poor children shouldn’t have a decent education. Aussie stop talking about British politics. I don’t make threads about your racist Australian parties.

Don’t let this kangaroo discourage you from voting for an anti racist party which wants to spend money on public libraries and free school meals for children from low income backgrounds. What we have under the Tory government is a socialist system for the rich where private schools like Eton get tax cuts whilst public schools receive cut backs. The situation is so bad that teachers in these schools are being forced to feed the kids and buy toilet paper because the school can’t afford to do so.

The police cuts in London means everyday there is another victim of knife crime.

@AussieHustler and @VixR with all due respect are basing the Tory government on what they know about the Republican government when the two are not alike. Their only common goal is to cut tax for the rich and serve their big donor companies. But in terms of getting involved in religious affairs like abortion and gay marriage, the tories do not have a social or religious agenda.

Obviously, what you’re describing makes no logical sense and isn’t right. But, at the same time, the Republican Party in the US is blamed for the same things you mentioned, except it does have social agenda.

Dems oppose them on social and economic fronts. But I strongly believe their social programs are a trap. It’s tiresome to watch minorities fall for liberal parties for its gib-mes, when that’s precisely what keeps them bottom tier. We have social programs already. I don’t want the US to become like Euro countries where the entire country is operating on an overextended social program, and accumulating overwhelming amounts of debt on top of what we already have.

@Knowles

It looks futile because it will be unlikely that team Corbyn to be the next tenants of 10 Downing Street, but anyways, good luck to you guys. I hope their win to be by a very slim majority which renders Brexit to become the sole issue that captivates parliament and the public till the elections after this one. It’s better to have a plan B, kindly consider a move to Scotland because the SNP and the Scots would rather cede from Britain if the Tories win and Brexit becomes a reality. Good luck.

Like it or not the Tories and the republicans are borrowing heavily and increasing their nation’s debt. I urge you to look at the stats. The idea that the conservatives are pragmatic with money is a fallacy, it’s just that the left are bad at holding them to account.

Let’s look at the global recession that occurred during Labour and the Republicans reign where Bush and Blair were in charge. In the U.K. the left wing Labour Party were held responsible for the global crash whereas no one blames the republicans in America.

The reason why the republicans have a social agenda is because they need the votes from the evangelicals and all the other Jesus freaks in America who live in pockets of America society and are consistent voters. In the U.K. we don’t have Christian psychos like in America, the Christians in this country are left wing, they like refugee and tend to be close to the black community who have a large Christian presence.

What I’m trying to explain to aussie is there is no point exporting American politics to explain British politics. We have our own set of unique problems and challenges.

Also, in terms of black people not voting for the republicans, there is a simple explanation. The republicans only get into power when they run racist dog whistle campaigns like peddling the idea that Obama is a Muslim or that we need to treat Africans Americans like we did in the 50s. Why would they vote for a group that demonises them to get white votes?

I understand why someone like broken English speaking Ayan Hersi or low Iq candace vote for the republicans because if they were liberals no one would care for them. To be a successful liberals you are expected to be intelligent, charismatic and respectable. To be a republican the bar is very low, you have to say you are one.

Honestly I’m not keen on Corbin but he is being smeared. I just want to stay in the EU, avoid calling Boris Johnson our prime minister and stop austerity cuts. Not asking for a revolution.

you are wasting your time on 2 know it all who actually has no clue about uk politics. But it doesn’t stop them talking out of their ass. I just don’t get how people can talk with so much confidence of something they know so little about

I actually think they are open to listening if you provide them with evidence and argument. You on the other hand...

Equating Blair to comrade Corbyn in economic management and fiscal responsibility is like equating apples to oranges. I feel your pain in attempting to paint Corbyn someone trustworthy with fiscal responsibility, but he believes in an ideology of spend, spend, spend and tax, tax and tax. He intends to borrow a trillion pounds for his utopia socialist state that might sink Britain into a deficit that would require decades to pay off through a very painful austerity measures for the British people. Don’t misunderstand me, he’s a jolly good old fella, who wants to help the poor but thinks like Chavez how to do it. Britain will become the next Venezuela in Europe. The man can’t manage a fish and chip shop. Apologies again.

Don’t apologise. These are all fair points and you should lead with them as it is a concern. It would be nice to have a party which emphasises education, innovation and takes seriously climate change, but we lack that because we have right wing governments that are taking us back to debates about abortion in America and socialism for the rich in England. Labours ideas are dated but crashing out of the EU and chasing some deal with Donald Trump sounds even more bonkers. It would be nice to have a coalition of the Lib dens, greens and labour. We will see what the results look like.

So what have you provided to them that changed their mind? Cause they sure as hell sound as ignorant and stubborn as the money this thread started. Your mates are as stubborn as you. I would suggest give up on them
I will talk to you when you admit your obsession with naag nool was slightly on the bizarre side

my behaviour towards naag nool was no different from a zoologist discovering a new animal. I studied her and tried to understand her. The woman said she used to wash his ass for crying out loud. And he was a fully abled man

How did you even manage to find her? Also any updates?

I'm from Toronto, but as I fear for the safety of my person by revealing my Somalinimo in the Dot, I usually tell people that I'm actually Ethiopian and from Winnipeg

Our Conservatives are the worst. We used to have a decent right-of-centre party, but that merged with far right one to create one big headache around 15 years ago. The Cons have been moving further right ever since.
