Great news after the US General arrived. All our forces should be on the same page. I will be visiting soon to assess the changes on the ground to facilitate diaspora investments where it's necessary. Jubbaland deserves the best leadership not some tuug and then we will make it the best region in Africa biidnillah.

Even if SNA takes over Jubbaland and puts in a puppet like Hirshabelle/SW you'd still end up with Kenya having influence over the region.

Kenya's influence there sucks but it's the only ally Madobe has in the region.

Majority of politicians in those states are in it for their pocket but the king makers & military leaders are all controlled by foreign interests.
Why else are we still in a shitter for 18 years since the "reconciliation" talks in 2000?

Contrary to popular belief the only reason we’re “okay” with Ethiopia currently is because the govt has agreed to not get involved with our foreign affairs. So for our interests sake not theirs*. He’s proven that so far.
How do you have a problem with Ethiopia but not Kenya? Which has been more aggressive and belligerent as of late? Calling Madobe their man openly and claiming JL was theirs?

They just don't have the capability nor are as politically astute as those sneaky Ethiopians who've been fucking us over through foreign diplomacy for centuries.
Unlike with Kenya; Ethiopia sees a strong sovereign Somalia as an existential risk.
The moment they lose the Somali region their Ethiopian dream of an empire will collapse.
Even if none of the Ethiopian regions are willing to secede it would still be a risk the Ethiopian elites aren't willing to see.
So who should I be more wary of?
Kenyans who are just doing the bidding of some Western multinational or Ethiopia who won't sleep until Somalia never has the chance of standing up again?

But at this current *moment* in history, while Kenya is actively pursuing our coastline and supporting Madoobe, you really thinking abiy is a bigger problem?
I actually sortve liked madoobe until recently. I thought he was religious, and a wadani (maybe could be a little qabilist). But this last episode with Kenya exposed him.
