Who's a great somali. What person coming from Somali has ever done anything worth noting not just by Somali but others as well.just can't think of any . U go around the world to other cultures and civilizations they have those who rose above the society. Whether it be In political, new thought , inventions, and even religions sometimes.

And I think this is what we suffer from a lack of what I call "culture inspiration" . Not being able to call on the greats from the past.
Some cultures have almost cesspool of "great" individuals

Some guy on twitter debunked this. Except from clearly biased habeshas and other ethnicities in the horn, all the scholars accept he was Somali.

There's a consensus sxb. These Ethiopians are too embarrassed a somali scared them so much they still eat raw meat out of fear.

We are romanticise becoming the hero to save the day but do any of you have any leadership qualities? I could go on about the criterias needs to lead not 10 friends on a football team but a nation of tens of millions of people.
Do you have no bias between the clans?
Do you see every somali like a brother?
Are you willing to fight your own wars? A sign of a real leader is one who is on the frontline with his men who he asked to join him. One who sees himself as equal to his people.

I doubt if any of you would do that. Most of you don't have the will or ability to kill without going mad after.


We all talk about how we should have beaten alshabaab already but how many politicians fight their own wars. They come after with AU tanks when the battle has been won. And you expect average folk to fight for you when you won't yourself.

If we had a great perfect leader, he's a bullet away from a janazah. We shouldn't wait or wish for this messiah like figure who will build our nation alone.

We need a warrior culture.

A society or at the very least a subset of our society that will raise generations of warriors and leaders. An education system built around building the perfect warrior.

That's what we need. An engine that produces real raag not skin bleaching effeminate fobs

lol they were eating raw meat way before that but yeah. It was quite impressive for Ethiopia to survive despite fighting every country bordering it though lol. Their link with the Portuguese was weakened since they had no allied nation next to them.
