i dont support the idea or premise that Somalis should continue to go to war and fight neighboring closely related people because of land water and greed or because we claim they are our enemy these groups include the (afars and oromos) afars and Somalis were adals once

afars are 90 percent muslim, oromos are 70 percent muslim both groups are closely related to somalis culturally linguistically genetically and racially , ive seen too many people war mongering for somalis to fight these people this has real life consequences seen with moyale or somali region with afar and esssa

this has resulted in the deaths of Somalis and has contributed to the plight of our people today, some people on this forum love for Somalis to continue to be savages and kill each other and others in tribal wars

All the talk of war is counterproductive. The best way to move forward is to build economic ties and develop trust, but be wary at the same time. We should protect our interest also, but not act recklessly if the downsides outweigh the good. The only way to succeed is to analyze why things went wrong in the past and then not repeat them.

I've noticed that Somalis are quick to hold on to grudges and old customs without any thought of how it plays out in the grand scheme of things. We are people with no wisdom at all and should change this.

There is no mysterious entity or an outside force that is holding us down. We are our worst, and the only enemy, in my opinion.

The concept of war should only be uttered by people who can afford to wage one, while we can't even manage our territories. The delusions of grandeur, man. It's ridiculous.

I believe that Somalis could become great people if we get our shit together and start finding real solutions to problems. There's no easy way to deal with things either, so it's not appealing to most. They would instead boost their egos on how their clan is better than the rest, forgetting that they're at the bottom through the lens of the rest of the world.

I know great things can be achieved if we kickstart a few essential processes if you know what I mean. The rest would follow like a domino effect. With patient and diligence and focus on the bigger goal.

promoting wars between somalis and against other clsoely related groups havent helped somalis but put us all in the situation we are in todday porverty famine and warlords and a failed state callled somalia

and yes you re right we would have been the china japan of the horn of africa somalis are very good buisness wise and we could have helped improve our economy , instead we spend our energy prmoting wars and tribal wars with eachohter and others. we are at the bottom and we have to do everything in our power to get to the top

and this includes ending wars between somalis and other cushites

I think we should first and foremost focus on our people, and our interest. We can bridge certain gaps through a shared interest at first, and maybe in several decades, we can move towards a more unified horn. But only when we're in a position of strength.

apparently this also incldues not only the tribal wars between somalis but with other cushites as i feel they are often intertwinded ending qabil wars includes ending wars with other cushite tribes as well , we cant allow nro support war with other closely related groups that also serves to dampen somali improvement
