I helped build a big house in my moms hometown, it's very beautiful mashallah and I can't wait to go there

9 yrs ago i built a 6 bedroom house for 16k and now it worth more than 100k.
where is that? and how far back you owned the land.

Different cities mainly in Garowe, Bosaso, and xamar some are new (some of the family is in the real estate business buying and selling land) and some are just old plots as to how far back no clue to be honest never really asked
For the ppl who dont own land there, buy now if u have the money.

usually only the old plots(pre 1990) in mogadishu could create trouble,not always thou,depends who was taking care of.
I own land under my name in Ethiopia and family owns land and houses in Kenya.
Would be put off from buying land in Somalia's because you can't really trust the papers.
