Have you man been to Hargeisa or Djibouti City, those are models for the future. How Somalis deal with ajnabis.

I only know from Hargeisa there's like a whole Street of Yemenis selling from the roadside with some Having a thicker accent than me (I'm reer burco) and speak better somali then most qurba joogs.

In the morning I went to my local shop in Hargeisa this white girl runs in with yoga pants and t shirt buys water runs out.
I joke with the guy and he's like "Qabadhaa waa macaan" loool

I remember they all used to stay and chill at Ambassador but as Hargeisa has grown and now they're too brave.

The Oromo - think they're natives and want an elder in the Guurti
The Yemenis - all do menial jobs and put money together to make shops with the richer ones from Yemen actually starting business and using money to bring more in
Syrians - all highly educated working as engineers doctors etc.
Europeans - NGO / Backpackers
Indians / Chinese are mineral explorers
Gulf Arabs - Charity or There just because they're bored and saw the airline start the route here

Informative. Thank you.

Also why would Oromos think they native to Somaliland?

They'll be frozen out of politics, and if conflict arises, they'll be some of the first to be targeted.

Of course I know that we are pleasant to foreigners during times of peace. But when we go into full out war, I'm afraid that ajnabis don't stand a chance. Hopefully we make sure to put some measures into practice and laws into place that protect minorities better like they do in the West.
Of course they will be frozen out of politics lol, don’t get brainwashed by the way the world is today and really the world today reflects on the mess which is people trying to live side by side on the same land and mix cultures this how you get unnecessary problems like murder and racism. Everyone on the planet is only really comfortable around there own because everyone has there own land own language etc, but that doesn’t mean people shouldn’t be respectful that’s mandatory but people are going to put there own people first, and if you don’t like that then you need go somewhere where you can put your own people first.

Indians (with Yemenis Omanis Persians etc) had all the places to settle and choose Xamar in its antiquity which was ruled by Hawiyes.

Looks like ur regions were shitholes for foreigners to even consider

I don’t see your point. I didn’t personally massacre anyone. Why are Daroods so salty? Always bringing up tribalism at every turn?

I understand it must have been hard being born in a refugee camp, but get over it. We won.
Why bring qabil into this and is growing in a refugee camp a joke for you I don't get it

Oromos started moving there when Hargeisa started rebuilding After afweyne there's maybe some who were there before. Remember a video from a while ago about this old man who has like 3 generations.

But mor there's Kenyans making ways there too , type Hargeisa into Twitter there's loads of job adverts for Kenyans.

I'm scared to what Hargeisa is turning to, everyone the local gov destroys shops is the local people who to make way for a road to benefit a new high rise going up and it's just gonna be the haves and have not.

The wealth needs to spread I'm Somalilland. The average person in Hargeisa has a different quality of life than the one in the rest of SL. Ask Someone in Zeila and Las Anod they see HGA a world away
