The good thing is the oromo camp among us very small, other then gurgure and jaarso, somalis are still aware of the oromo threat and treat the oromo like a fuckin dog when they begin the walking migration which our ancestors used to warn us about. We removed them from Gaalkacyo, they are huge threat to our existence the oromo.

Somalis thankfully don't need much convincing to keep the anti oromo policies up besides a very few who think maybe they can secure their clan power thru oromo political allegiance and who may use the oromo as soldiers to fight other somali clans(the mangaab types), but we have yet to see one somali clan who is SOMETHING AMONG THE OROMO. All we have is backstab and betrayal from them like Dire Dawa and possibly many other historic somali towns who have been swallowed up by the OROMO.

@Theyuusuf The influence of non Ogaden in DDSI has been in steady decline since 1991. You are talking about meaningless things like Daroodism meanwhile Gadabursi, Isaaq, Jidwaaq, Degodiye, Hawiye, Harti are all basically non entities in DDSI.

Meesha waxay noqotay caro Maxamad Zubeer. Cid kale oo u talin doonta DDSI ma jirto. The Ogaden will reach a deal with the Cisse and basically allow them to rule Shiniile independently. Everyone else will have to toe the line. The Oromo have actually made the Ogaden more powerful than ever, I don't know why but that is what Abiy did.

That's your opinion in fact almost half of the new new leadership are Dir I have nothing against ogaden but we too play our role currently Ahmed shide is the Boss , we have 2 ministers in the federal government and all other somalis have zero. Now we want to get the deputy prime minister position. My community make no noise and are totally pro government heer deegan to heer federal waanu u ducaynayna xukuumada cagjare. Unlike MJs we isaaqs are not anarchists we will never ever lead our Dir community to their graveyard . Hala wada noolado we even support the Oromos.

There is no such thing as "Dir community", it does not exist. But if you were to count Dir, including Isaaq, got 7 out of 27 seats which is no where near half, but 25%. There used to be a time when DDSI was run by Isaaq, Ciise and Gadabursi; but that time has passed. I know Isaaq still yearn to return to the days of Abdulmajid, but the Ogaden are now in charge.

The money for Faafan will go to Jigjiga and Kebri Beyah, the money for Jarar will go to Dhagaxbur and Gunagado, the money for Afdheer will go to Hargeele. The only Dir that will benefit from the devolution Cagjar is trying to push are the Ciise.

I totally support Cagjar, Reer Isaaq are the brains of Daroodka Ethiopia.

Dir does exist the same way daarood exists and we have more qabilists than darood and hawiye combined. We have the same same number of seats in the cabinet as the Ogs the region is very diverse ogadens takes one third we take one third and the other third goes to all other somalis. If we hAve 7 ministers ogaden got the same plus we control the regional party and we have 2 ministers in Addis. Ogaden never had a minister in Addis in recent history. I support Cagjar not because oh his qabiil but because of his good intentions he is a good leader a honest one and he deserves our support , all of us, somalis .

Why are you acting like you ain’t a Somali dispicable isaaq just because Haile Selassie gave you nomads some bread now you turn on your Ogaden brothers. Isaaq= the biggest clown out of all Somalis!
Sorry sister but you darod are xabashi, don’t forget it was darod (liyuu) fighting for Ethiopia, darod invited Ethiopian army to Somalia to kill non darods, darod invited Kenyan troops into Somalia. The simple truth is darod are Oromo who are doing the vid of Ethiopia. @DR OSMAN

To be honest I don't mind an Ogadeen iron rule in DDSI as long as we get a representative minister and the commerce flows between Somaliland and DDSI are unrestricted. It is better that way because it ensures stability.

Most Isaaq are not naive enough to believe that the 90s when OG were in armed opposition to Addis will come back. Those days of Isaaq hegemony are long gone.

It's best for DDSI to shift commercial flow through to Puntland through the Galdogob corridor. Once the road is completely paved connecting Galdogob to Garacad and a decent sized port is there, bring your business to Puntland. In the mean-time Bosaso will continue to serve the eastern and central regions of Somalia. In return for this, Ogaden will be supporting not only a Darod clan inside Somalia, but keeping Somalia Border united, as Puntland is a Federalist and not a Secessionist state. By helping the Isaaq who want to divide Somalia up with your commercial flow is a threat to Somalia unity. Best solution is to let the Isaaq rot away till a pro somali-wayn leader is elected from Habar Yonis.

They is no commercial activities within Somaliland bar Habar yonis camels which use Bosaso anyways. Their port will be useless in Berbera and have no customers and eventually the port will decay and become history due to lack of maintenance. It's other Somali wealth they survive on in Berbera like a welfare collector which is where Somaliland sources it's funds to have a government. Darod can easily turn customers away from Somaliland and shift it's port's need to Puntland.

It's truly a shame for the Darod who are pro somali-wayn to be using a secessionist port and giving him taxes to continue his secessionist policies. Just re-route your camels to Puntland. Let DDSI build a paved road going into Wardheer and Connect from there into Galdogob all the way to Garacad.

You sure do write long retarded paragraphs.

How is this donkey telling us small time bosaso port which serves few thousand people in puntland can compete worth berbera. Most Somali livestock goes thru berbera kid, its even ahead of Mogadishu let alone some small useless fishing post that is only good for illegally getting Ethiopia. Migrants into Yemen via small fishing boats

When a road connect Galkacyo to Wardheer and DDSI’s road network, we will see a huge increase in trade between Puntland and DDSI. The reason why Bosaso is not competitive in DDSI is the lack of a road connection. Otherwise DDSI would be like Hiiraan is to Bosaso. Hiiraan uses Bosaso although Mogadishu port is closer. Having the Turks and the UAE run Mogadishu and Berbera will mean that prices at those two ports will almost always be higher than in Bosaso.
