Girls that romanticise being single are liars

You ever notice all they talk about is Men and relationships even though they claim to be happy and single?

You can't have a chat with her about world peace, scientific discoveries or anything of the sort, instead she be saying "Men are trash" 24/7. Where is this happiness that has supposedly come to you whilst being away from Men?

Why can't they just be honest, instead of denouncing the other gender and justifying being single, just say you haven't found the one you're looking for but you're keeping your options open.

If you ask me, being single is an absolute pile of dogshit. No one to talk to about your problems and no one to share your happiness with. Atleast as a guy, society won't judge you if you sleep around and consequently men won't care about what others think but girls will have utter jealousy when their girls are getting wifed up and have kids, it's all too real.

You can tell when someone is happy in a relationship, they're much more focused on making life easier for themselves, they detest drama much more.

Reminds me of Muslims who left the Deen claiming to be free but talk about religion 24/7.

Nah it’s true. Oftentimes men think of it as competing with other men when it comes to women, but a lot of times my experience in my mind has been that all of them were competing against my being alone until something changed.

This is different from periods of being in that state of mind of feeding off the short lived perks of dating random guys. After a while, it all gets old.

Just look at Monks, a group of celibate men who believe in asceticism. Minus the weird ones, most are focused on some kind of spiritual energy. When they're in a relationship they are upset at their partners, when they're single they're mad at the world.

Relationships are overrated imo. You have to be able to be happy by yourself to truly be able to be happy with someone else. If you're happy and healthy mentally, you'll probably make better choices anyway.

Great point. And yes relationships are 100% overrated, I honestly prefer the company of my girlfriends over going out on a date.

The point is most men don't lie to themselves that their lives are better off without women. We know women make our lives better but its hard for women to admit the same.

Whilst married women are less happier and live shorter lives compared to single women.

You shouldn’t compare it to dating. They’re different. Dating is a detached process until your meet the right person.

Most ppl go on a hiatus from their friends when they find that person who pushes all the right buttons.

But it’s a very rare thing.

But to state that being in the average relationship is better than being single like the OP states is also misleading. Just look around you.

Being single for a Somali is not the same as being single for cadaans. You really cant compare the two.

For white women it makes sense to stay single since they can have sex with any man they want.

Just like any woman, you can spend that time on yourself. Its better to be emotionally/mentally stable and mature tban jumping from relationship to relationship or marriage to marriage. I know a number of Somali's with clear issues that are either:
1) divorced multiple times
2) Extremely toxic towards everyone

These are extreme examples but you need to be ready for such a commitment and a lot of people aren't :manny:

True. I agree those are good reasons to remain single.

I get working on yourself which is commendable but what I don't get is people who glorify spinsterhood and perpetual singledom to young girls. It seems a lot of older women who got wronged by a man want to impart that toxic mentality onto younger women. It looks like a lot of women don't have each others best interests at heart.
