Nope... the two languages do not sound the same because Modern Hebrew is strongly influenced by European languages, like Yiddish, Polish, German and Russian. to me is sounds like German while Arabic is just elegant in it's unique way.

They're in Arabian countries, why would they learn English? That's like expecting Somalis in France to know English.Except for those in Abu Dhabi-Dubai, anyone noticed this?
The ones in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain etc can only speak Arabic.Also, notice how so few of them are on SSPOT despite them being in the tens of thousands.

But many there don't speak English and do just fine. Isn't expecting them all to learn English weird? For the sake of everyday living, why would they need to know English? I live in Canada, but I can't fluently speak French even though there's advantages to speaking it here.

All the other diasporas speak English just fine.. (Sweden, Tanzania etc, you name it). Arabo-cucks in Saudi just refuse to learn it.

Why would they need to know English, if they can get by just fine without it in an Arab nation?
Why not just speak Somali to them?

The vast majority of Somali diaspora in the non English speaking countries; do not have the command of the language you think they wield.
Some dialects can be rough and sound like they are angry but some sound nice and soothing in a way.
I'd say a lot of people speaking 'fluent Somali' haven't really mastered Somali. Why do old people compliment your Somali when your Somali is like that of a seven year old?

exactly... our language is extremely rich, broad and very diverse with countless dialects and accents. i think no one can claim to have mastered Somali ever.
the other day i was listening to Cilmi Boodhari's song by tubeec; it turns out the chorus of the song is a dialect only used by tumaal (Tubeec and omar dhuule's) people, i couldn't understand it.
