I always thought they were oromo and habesha looking but now i realise there are some bantu looking ethiopians

You just learned that today? Tourists always go to Southwest Ethiopia and take pictures of Ethiopian Omotic and Nilotic tribes..

Not really... unless you think all blacks look the same. I can still tell the difference. Nigerians / Congolese look different.
No they look kinda the same to me it's harder to tell but congolese are very dark and nigerians bleach to much but with that big noise you know they were dark before:drakelaugh:

Somalis come from Northeast Sudan. They are not related to the natives of Ethiopia such as these groups. So irrelevant for Somalis.

Is this the migration route of Haplogroup E or T? I saw quite a few things claiming Haplogroup T is possibly associated with the lands of ancient Persia (even people like the Elamites).

Ancient Somali history is so confusing

They both arrived at the same time. There is no evidence of secondary migrations within Somalis.

Haplogroup T has been in Egypt for over 15,000 years. Nothing to do with Persians.

By the way, this tribe the Konso has 9% haplogroup T. Lol. It is widespread in East Africa.

Where were these people before they moved from Egypt and when did they move to Somalia?

The maps I've seen make sense for Haplogroup E. Haplogroup T seems to be just about everywhere.

Haplogroup T are not ''a people''.. it is a widespread haplogroup with different races carrying it.

I know. Haplogroup only signifies that the people carrying it have a paternal ancestor in common. What explains the distribution of people who share this haplogroup though?

So are you saying we wuz Pharaohs lol (i.e. we have common ancestry with the ancestors of the ancient Egyptians)?

It's bullshit based on a decade-old microsatellite study. Even in that study the Konso were not close to Bantus.

New autosomal studies show Omotic Ethiopians have their own gene pool unique to themselves and not at all related to even Nilotes.

The Konso are probably racially Omotic like the Ari tribe.

@Crow Habeshas are mixed with these people, hence, why they look different from Somalis.
Hey do you know why Ethiopians have such rough hair compared to Somali even though they have yemeni in them.
I've meet so many and they all had rough hair especially the men
