They did. If you noticed the Arabs in the video were black and some of the so called Arabs were Somalis btw. Most of the Arabs there were mixed or culturally Arabs only. Oman and Tanzania didn't have any diplomatic relations after this incident up until the late 2010s. Some managed to escape to Oman and I met on of them in on a oil rig.

The Somali and Arabs had come in 11-14th century and intermarried came to the conclusions before Europeans came to the Islands, it was already an Indonesian colony. because it was used a island with slaves from Ma'ayan people instead of Javanese during the Majapahit. It weird how somali culture is commercialised and seen as international whereas other cultures are gatekept. We have more cultural influence than say amharas for example, no one appropriates their cultural clothing.

Because Somalis show off their culture to the whole world and make it their whole personality others gatekeep and keep quiet about it
