He will pass the bill but it will be ignored. The government has no money.
The gov been broke since finding was cut due to malpractice. When aid resumes as normal (if correct financial measures are reinstated) inshallah any future leader leans towards this.
A state of the art hospital would not cost too much. 5-10million. Somalia is confined to one city in taxes which is sad. So much GDP that goes unaccounted for. All we need is our own fleet of drones to end the thing holding us back once and for all. And Somalia will have the budget necessary to function.

This is exactly why I want the Constitution to be completed. Without the recent changes, of course. Because it would unify the country's economy, security and much more. We would then begin to resemble a statehood.

You have a good heart but unfortunately we will have to wait for the next administration in order to see Somalis united. This current administration has lost all credibility. Nothing has been build in the past 2 years and nothing will be build in the next 2 years.

This is vanity, and classic prima donna behaviour by a Somali politician to obtain social media validation. If he was genuine, he would have announced it on SNTv, Radio Muqdisho, Astaansports, etc where Somalis from Somalia would be his audience, and who would hold him accountable for his promises.
Instead, he is pandering to the diaspora and worse, he is using images of the University Medical Center of New Orleans instead of commissioning a unique render, which tells you he has done zero research on a potential medical center, no feasibility study for construction funding, for land, for professional staff, for maintenance costs and for salaries, none of that, nada.
This behaviour is really sinister, when you think about it, because before social media, a politician actually had to deliver something ‘real world’ before he could collect his kudos, now he is getting the same dopamine with just 140 characters.

No, just a basic hospital will run in the millions. A start of art hospital will be very costly, just the annual running costs will be more than 10million.
I based it off the local hospital in my area (5mil) and doubled the price since everything is more expensive in Somalia. They import a lot of stuff so they have it harder.

Sxb, you said a state of art hospital. We don't have that in Somalia, Banaadir or Medina hospital in Somalia has a running cost of 20-50 million and these two are the biggest. Digfeer which do a more specialised medicine has an operationg cost of nearly 140 million. Medicine is very costly and that's just running cost, the start-up cost are even worse and prohibitive and that's why they majority are publicly funded
